Tiger's Eye (Gold)
Rich golden brown with bands of shifting light. As you turn it, a silky stripe of shine moves across the surface, like the eye of a big cat.
About tiger's eye (gold)
Tiger's eye is a form of quartz containing fine parallel fibres, coloured by iron oxides. The fibres give it chatoyancy, the moving band of light that gives the stone its name. Much of it comes from South Africa.
Tradition links tiger's eye with courage, focus and steady confidence. It is said to be a grounding, protective stone, and has long been carried as a good luck charm.
How people use it
A classic pocket stone for busy days, exams or interviews. Many people keep one on a desk, in a bag or in the car. A popular first crystal and gift.
Care
Hard wearing and easy to look after. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Store apart from softer stones so it does not scratch them.
Crystal meanings describe tradition and belief, not medical advice.
