White Moonstone
Milky white beads with a soft, glowing sheen that seems to float just under the surface. Some have a faint blue or silvery shimmer when they catch the light.
About white moonstone
Moonstone is a feldspar mineral. Its glow, called adularescence, happens when light scatters between very thin layers of two different feldspars inside the stone. Moonstone is one of the birthstones for June.
In crystal tradition, moonstone is said to be linked with the moon, intuition and new beginnings. It is traditionally associated with calm emotions and feminine energy, and is often given as a token of love.
How people use it
A soft, pretty bracelet for every day or special occasions, and a lovely June birthday gift. It stacks well with selenite, rose quartz or silver. Tradition favours the left wrist for receiving.
Care
Moonstone can scratch and has cleavage, so avoid knocks. Roll it on rather than stretching it, and take it off before swimming, showering or using hand cream.
Crystal meanings describe tradition and belief, not medical advice.
