Aragonite
Orange-brown to rusty tan clusters of crystals that spike out in all directions, like a star or a little sputnik. Each piece is a natural spiky cluster.
About aragonite
Aragonite is calcium carbonate, the same chemistry as calcite but with a different crystal structure. It is named after Aragon in Spain. These star-shaped clusters, often called sputnik aragonite, come from Morocco.
In crystal tradition aragonite is a grounding, steadying stone. It is said to bring patience and calm in busy times and to help you feel connected to the earth.
How people use it
A striking piece for a desk, shelf or windowsill. Many people keep one in a busy room or workspace as a grounding stone, or as the centre of a grid.
Care
Soft and the points snap easily, so handle by the body of the cluster. Avoid soaking and acids. Dust with a soft brush.
Crystal meanings describe tradition and belief, not medical advice.
