Light Amethyst
Raw, natural chunks of amethyst in a pale, soft lilac, sometimes almost lavender or with clear patches. The rough broken faces have a gentle, glassy sheen.
About light amethyst
These are rough, unpolished pieces of pale amethyst, a variety of quartz. The lighter colour simply means less of the iron that gives amethyst its purple tint. The name comes from the Greek amethystos, meaning not intoxicated.
Light lilac amethyst is traditionally seen as the gentler side of the stone. It is said to bring a soft, soothing calm and is linked with relaxation, rest and quiet reflection in crystal tradition.

Many people keep a pale amethyst chunk by the bed, in a bedroom bowl, or in a pocket for a calming touch through the day. It also suits children's crystal collections and gentle gifts.
Care
Keep out of direct sunlight, as pale amethyst fades more easily. Rinse with water and dry well. Store separately so rough edges do not scratch softer stones.
