Blue Amber
Raw, rough pieces that look golden brown in daylight. Under ultraviolet light they glow a striking blue, and in some lights a blue sheen shows at the surface.
About blue amber
Blue amber is fossilised tree resin, millions of years old, of the type found in the Dominican Republic and Indonesia. Natural compounds in the resin make it fluoresce blue under ultraviolet light, a rare trait among ambers.
Crystal tradition says blue amber blends amber's warm, sunny energy with a calmer, cooling quality. It is said to support clear expression and a peaceful mind, and is treasured as a special, uncommon piece.

Collectors love shining a UV torch on blue amber to see it glow. Keep a piece on a shelf or desk, carry it as a comfort stone, or give it as an unusual gift.
Care
Very soft and easily scratched. Keep away from heat, perfume, sprays and cleaning products. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and store on its own.
