Amazonite
Soft blue-green to turquoise stone with pale white streaks and a slight silky sheen. Some pieces show fine grid-like lines across the colour.
About amazonite
Amazonite is a green variety of microcline, a feldspar. Its colour is linked to traces of lead and water in the crystal. It is named after the Amazon River, although it is not known to be found there.
In crystal tradition amazonite is called a stone of calm and harmony. It is said to soothe the mind and encourage honest, gentle communication.

A calming desk or pocket stone, often kept nearby during busy or stressful days. Pretty in a bowl, on a bedside table or in a grid for peace and balance.
Care
Feldspar can split along its cleavage, so avoid knocks and sudden heat. Clean with a damp cloth and dry. Keep apart from harder stones.
