Hibiscus
Crimson dried hibiscus, deep red to almost black, with a tart, fruity scent.
About hibiscus
These are the dried calyces of the roselle hibiscus, used around the world for ruby-red drinks: karkadeh in Egypt, agua de jamaica in Mexico and sorrel at Christmas in the Caribbean.
With its strong red colour, hibiscus is used in witchcraft for love and passion, and to bring warmth and boldness to a spell.
In a potion
Add a layer to a love potion, or pair it with rose petals and a red love candle.
Safety
For rituals and display only, not for eating or drinking. Keep away from children and pets, and store dry, out of direct sunlight.
Herb meanings describe folk tradition and belief, not medical advice.
