Rosemary
Dried rosemary needles in grey-green, with a strong, fresh, piney scent.
About rosemary
Rosemary has stood for remembrance for centuries: Shakespeare's Ophelia hands it out for remembering, and in Tudor England it was carried at both weddings and funerals.
It was burned to cleanse sickrooms and grown by the door for protection. In witchcraft rosemary is used for protection, clear thinking and cleansing, and can stand in for almost any herb.
In a potion
Add it to protection and wisdom potions, or keep a pouch by the front door.
Safety
For rituals and display only, not for eating or drinking. Keep away from children and pets, and store dry, out of direct sunlight.
Herb meanings describe folk tradition and belief, not medical advice.
