Yarrow
Dried yarrow flower heads and feathery leaves in soft cream and sage green.
About yarrow
Yarrow takes its Latin name from the Greek hero Achilles, who in legend used it to heal his soldiers' wounds. In ancient China, dried yarrow stalks were used to cast the I Ching.
In British folklore a sprig of yarrow under the pillow was said to bring a dream of your future love. It is a herb of courage, love and protection.
In a potion
Use it in confidence, love and protection potions. It is one of the most useful all-round herbs to keep.
Safety
For rituals and display only, not for eating or drinking. Keep away from children and pets, and store dry, out of direct sunlight.
Herb meanings describe folk tradition and belief, not medical advice.
