Moonstone
Creamy white to pale grey stone with a soft, milky glow that seems to float just under the surface. In good light it shows a gentle silvery sheen, like moonlight on water.
About moonstone
Moonstone is a feldspar made of thin, alternating layers of two different feldspar minerals. Light scattering between these layers creates its floating glow, known as adularescence. It is found in India, Sri Lanka and other parts of the world.
Moonstone has long been linked with the moon and its cycles. Crystal tradition says it encourages intuition, calm and emotional balance, and it is traditionally known as a stone for new beginnings and safe travel.

Keep Moonstone by the bed, in a pocket or on a moon altar. Many people leave it on a windowsill under the full moon or give it as a gift for a fresh start.
Care
Moonstone can split along its natural layers if knocked or dropped. Clean with lukewarm soapy water and a soft cloth. Store apart from harder stones.
