Apatite
Vivid blue to blue-green, sometimes with darker veins or lighter cloudy patches. It has a glassy to slightly greasy shine and a bright, saturated colour.
About apatite
Apatite is a phosphate mineral, the same family of mineral that makes up teeth and bones. It is the reference mineral for 5 on the Mohs hardness scale. The name comes from the Greek apatao, to deceive, as it was often mistaken for other minerals.
In crystal tradition blue apatite is said to be a stone of motivation and focus. It is linked with clear communication, learning and setting goals, and is often chosen by people starting a new project.

People keep apatite on a desk or study table, carry it to meetings, or hold it while planning and journaling. It is also a striking piece for a blue-themed collection.
Care
Softer than many tumblestones, so it can scratch. Store on its own and avoid knocks. Clean with plain water only and keep away from acids and harsh cleaners.
