Citrine
Sunny yellow to golden orange quartz, sometimes deepening to a warm amber at the tips. It has a bright, glassy shine and often looks lit from within.
About citrine
Citrine is the yellow to orange variety of quartz. Natural citrine is fairly rare, and much of the citrine sold today is amethyst that has been heat treated to turn it golden. The name comes from the French citron, meaning lemon.
In crystal tradition citrine is known as the merchant's stone and is linked with abundance and success. It is said to bring warmth, optimism and confidence, and is a traditional birthstone for November.

Citrine is often kept in a till, purse or wallet, or on a work desk as a stone of abundance. Many people place it in a bright living space or give it as a good luck gift.
Care
Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods, as the colour can fade. Clean with water and a soft cloth, and store apart from softer stones.
