Sage
Dried garden sage leaves in soft grey-green, with a warm, earthy scent.
About sage
The name sage comes from the Latin salvere, to be well. A medieval saying asked why anyone should die while sage grows in their garden, and sage has long stood for wisdom and long life.
This is common garden sage, the herb used in cooking. In folk magic it is used for wisdom, cleansing and protection.
In a potion
Add it to wisdom and protection potions. It pairs well with rosemary and clear quartz.
Safety
For rituals and display only, not for eating or drinking. Keep away from children and pets, and store dry, out of direct sunlight.
Herb meanings describe folk tradition and belief, not medical advice.
