Rhodonite
Rose pink to raspberry stone threaded with black veins and patches. The bold contrast between the pink and black gives each piece its own pattern.
About rhodonite
Rhodonite is a manganese silicate mineral. Its name comes from the Greek rhodon, meaning rose. The black veins are mostly manganese oxide. Fine Rhodonite has long been mined in the Ural Mountains of Russia, where it was carved into ornaments.
Crystal tradition calls Rhodonite a stone of emotional balance. It is said to help with forgiveness and healing old hurts, and it is traditionally linked with compassion, love and calm in difficult relationships.
