Rose Petals
Deep pink and red dried rose petals, soft and papery, with a gentle sweet scent.
About rose petals
Roses have stood for love for thousands of years. In Greek and Roman myth they belonged to Aphrodite and Venus, the goddesses of love, and rose water and rose oil have been treasured in Persian perfumery for centuries.
In the Victorian language of flowers a red rose meant love and a pink rose meant gratitude and grace. In witchcraft rose petals are the first herb people reach for in love, self-love and friendship work.
In a potion
Add a layer of petals to a love or friendship potion, sprinkle a few around a pink or red spell candle, or keep a pinch in a pouch by your bed.
Safety
For rituals and display only, not for eating or drinking. Keep away from children and pets, and store dry, out of direct sunlight.
Herb meanings describe folk tradition and belief, not medical advice.
